Council Votes to Cut Firefighter
|
|
|
Despite not having a plan on how operations will be handled with single firefighter coverage starting July 1, the Lincoln Town Council voted 5-2 to accept the Fire Department budget with one of two proposed firefighter cuts. 16 shifts per month will now have single firefighter coverage, drastically altering the way we respond to calls. Negotiations are set for the Union and the Town to meet and discuss the changes in working conditions.
